Maple Rye Drop Scones

Ingredients

100g rye flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
3 tablespoons maple syrup
150ml milk
oil

Method

Place the dry ingredients into a bowl. Add egg, maple syrup and milk a little at a time.

Heat oil in a heavy frying pan. Add spoonful of mixture into hot pan. When bubbles form on the surface turn over and cook until golden brown.
