Almond Fingers

Ingredients

125g rye flour
100g ground almonds
125g butter
100g sugar
25g flaked almonds
1 egg white

Method

Preheat oven to 170C.

Mix together rye flour, ground almonds, sugar and butter to form a soft dough. Press into a 15x20cm greased baking tray.

Mix flaked almonds with egg white and spread over biscuit base.

Bake for 40 minutes. Cool slightly in tin before slicing into fingers.
