Lentils (Bio Dynamic)

Lentils are a legume like other beans and a good source of cholesterol lowering fibre. They are low in calories, high in nutrition and contain more vitamin B than any other unfortified plant food so are great for managing blood sugar disorders. Lentils provide a third of the daily requirement of fibre and are an important addition to a vegetarian diet.
Perfect for summer salads, spreads, patties, and a wonderful addition to winter hot pots and curries.
For cooking, lentils do not require pre-soaking, just simmer 1 cup of lentils to 3 cups of water for approximately 1/2 hour.
